I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and OpenOffice 3. The next version of Ubuntu will come out around April 2010. Will most likely include the newest version of OpenOffice in the live cd. If not, then users of Ubuntu can always download OpenOffice 3.x easily, as the article says. OpenOffice is at version 3.x right now.
